Why? [sonnet]

Why

Why should existences exist at all?
Why should eternity not now apply
to physicality [I know… the Fall].
Why is there even need for questions why?

When riddles and conundrums plague the mind
because one cannot see the greater whole,
the time has come to melt oneself, I find —
surrender to the wisdom in the soul.

Don’t try to answer all the questions posed;
for in the posing of them lie the keys.
Beyond all reasoning and words disclosed
lie greater still unveiled epiphanies.

For when the time has come for one to know,
then, effortlessly, hidden streams will flow!

    Free will was a very risky but necessary gift to give. So it appears to me. Questioning God’s goodness to gain a faulty logic continues to screw everything up. So done with it. The snakes are poised ever we’re born.
