The Time Has Come (new song video)

LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #89: “The Time Has Come”. Here is a new song which I just completed today. I don’t need to say anything about it, for the time has indeed come. The lyrics speak for themselves. I hope you find them interesting and encouraging. Read on, and here they are:

Once around the sun;
it ends then it’s begun.
The wheel before all wheels has turned around.
One wonders what’s in store?
There’s nothing here that’s sure,
except we’re in a broken battleground.

We’ve reached a watershed —
a turning-point of dread
(and now I’m not referring to the Sun).
The things that I have known
would sit on Satan’s “throne”
have now across this broken world begun.

Why can’t you see this too?
I’m speaking now to you
who scoff each time I put my words to pen.
Your eyes only look down;
your grimace and your frown
in anger at the truth form once again.

The time has come to cut your puppet strings
The time has come instead to find your wings.
The time has come to speak in your own voice
The time has come to know you have that choice

You speak just in clichés.
They’ve now become a craze
imprinted in your brain which has been breached.
Enslavement is your ‘god’.
You shun all paths untrod.
You’re mesmerized by what ‘the news’ has preached.

So now I plead with you:
Please do not misconstrue
my heart’s entreaties written in this song.
We’re poised upon a verge
when many fronts will merge.
The promised End will no more be prolonged.

So throw caution to the wind —
neutrality rescind;
determine to discover truth alone.
For wrongness, make amends
you’ll lose most of your “friends”,
whose hearts increasingly will turn to stone.
