LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #93: “Pure Feeling”. Here is a video of a new song. The lyrics are self-explanatory. The emphasis is on the purity rather than the emotion. Such purity is unassailable by anything dark, whether human or otherwise. I hope you find it uplifting and anything else that is good. It comes with love. The full lyrics are as follows:

There’s a pure feeling I’ve not felt for so long,
and that pure feeling’s what I send through this song.
And I hope if you listen you will know what I mean,
about the pure feeling that’s been often my dream.

After all the storm-laden screeds of the past
I have craved calmer seas for my soul.
But it’s so hard to foster a bond which will last
and which has harmony’s peace as its goal.

It seems that so many are hellbent on a fight,
as they spread their dark chaos from within.
One has to connect with the souls who love light
and whose beauty is deeper than skin.

There’s a pure feeling whispering to me for long.
It’s a pure feeling — nothing ‘bout it is wrong
It’s like déjà vu (now you’ll know what it means);
it’s the pure feeling that comes to me in my dreams.

Surrounded I’ve been by so many who swirled
just to vain virtue-signal their soul.
But I’m trying to find what is real in this world
where that pure feeling’s the goal.

Please don’t misunderstand what I’m trying to explain,
for there is more to these words than mere dreams
For that pure feeling which is in the refrain
glimmers on my horizon it seems.

All things hollow
strewn on my trail
in which I wallowed
now quickly fail.
All things wholesome
hid on my path
now form my landscape
in sweet aftermath.

I reached this stage where I’ve nothing more left to lose
except my breath and my blood and my life.

where I live on the blade of a knife.

It seems that all encounters that are gifted my way
now have a strangesome and fateful intent.
All the pure feelings I only glimpsed yesterday
now come through clear and infused with sweet scent.
