Are you the Kind of Lady Who…? [song lyric]
Okay, here a brief flipside checklist for you. Positive checklist for you coming next. I had fun writing this…
Are you the kind of lady who likes all things in a box
Neatly lined up rows of shiny things
Always making sure you wear a pair of matching socks
Never wait to see what fate may bring?
Are you the kind of lady who works late into the night
After starting work before the break of day
Always using work to keep from feelingfullnesslife
(Workoholics keep all that at bay)?
Then please will you kindly pass me by
I don’t think that we’ll be electrified
Please will you walk on down the road
No meeting point in our genetic code
Are you the kind of lady with an arm three metres long
Ensuring that your armour won’t be pierced
Always making safety first when feelings could be strong
Rather than the usual Trail of Tears?
Are you the kind of lady who wears nightclothes in your bed
And only drives at thirty miles an hour
Is the car paint always shining; are the goldfish overfed
Would you never notice August meteor showers?
Then please will you kindly pass me by
I don’t think that we’ll be electrified
Please will you walk on down the road
No meeting point in our genetic code
Are you the kind of lady who has fingernails so sharp
With painted toes and painted lips to match
Do your heels on the pavement tap out Morse Code in the park
Every step you take being strictly choreographed?
Are you the kind of lady who has Coldplay on the shelf
(Which you never play in case it gets a mark)
Are there certain words which fool you which you always will misspell
Will you only take your clothes off in the dark?
Then please will you kindly pass me by
I don’t think that we’ll be electrified
Please will you walk on down the road
No meeting point in our genetic code
If you’re the kind of lady who is not in the above
I’d love to have you somewhere in my life
I guess I’ll go and write another song on what I love
So then you’ll have a checklist for advice
