“Sophia” (LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #26)
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #26: “Sophia”. This is a home-performance of the new song I wrote a piece about yesterday. It’s about a recurring dream I have in which I come face to face in various situations with a feminine entity. Some say it’s my “twin-soul”. Others that it is a manifestation of Sophia, archetype of wisdom. As for me, I say… Well… have a listen to the song. Just click on the video. Feel free to share.

I saw your face in a dream.
It had a wild kind of theme.
Light in your eyes
electrifies
when I saw your face in a dream.
I wandered far through that night;
higher than birds go in flight.
We were there —
angel pair,
when I wandered far through that night.
[Refrain]
Touched my soul; half made whole
In this vision, I drown.
Is our flame just a game
only found in my dreams?
So it seems,
unredeemed.
Across the heavens we spun;
way past the arc of the sun
One from two;
went where we flew,
out through the heavens we spun.
I’ve known you from long ago.
We parted so we could grow.
Disunion’s tough;
have we had enough?
I knew you so long ago.
Touched my soul; half made whole
In this vision, I drown.
Is our flame just a game
only found in my dreams?
So it seems,
unredeemed.
When I awoke you weren’t there;
blank canvas painted with a prayer.
Lost in space
without a trace;
’cause when I woke you weren’t there.
So now I dream you again
while neurons dance in my brain.
Think I’ll stay
here everyday.
Won’t have to dream you again!
