The Fall of Truth in a Fearful World

EARLIER IN THIS BOOK, I wrote about the practice of telling falsehoods or spreading derogatory information about other people — advising that one should never accept such information at face value because very often the people doing the bad-mouthing are doing so either because of their own internal hang-ups or just plain old jealousy. The true victim in any calumnious situation is always truth.
Truth, for me, is the most precious commodity in the universe, so it’s hardly surprising that it should come under attack in a corrupted, relativistic world where the majority have no reverence for the genuinely sacred. When I contemplate what the world would be like without the possibility of objective truth, I see a moral desert and the cosmos would be an ugly scar from one end to the other. Yet, many today deny that there is even such a thing as truth! They say that everyone has their own truth therefore it can only ever be relative and never absolute. Truth, they say, is therefore merely what any human being happens to feel is right at any one time.
But is this true? Or, rather, can it be true, given the fact that they say that nothing can be true! Allow me to demonstrate this conundrum in the form of a dialogue. This is a dialogue which you could very easily have with most members of the human race. It is based on an actual conversation that I had and it goes like this: Read the rest of this entry »
Dear Fakebook…

Dear Fakebook,
I understand that you are stepping up your game to eliminate profiles which you deem to be propagating fake news or false information. That is surely going to be counterproductive for you because most of the “informational” memes and many of the claims on Fakebook are fake, which would mean you will have to delete many of your subscribers! 😀 However, I think you may mean that you are going to delete profiles which publish information which you would like to fool the public into believing is fake, but which really exposes the truth about what is happening in the world 😉 Read the rest of this entry »
A Necessary Veil (poem)

Staring longsome at the quietbusy midnight sky,
nostalgia curtseys at the threshold of my soul
as waves of tearful joy unlock what once was
hidden by a necessary veil across my eyes. Read the rest of this entry »
Dear Victoria Beckham…

Dear Victoria Beckham,
I can’t help noticing the vast number of people on social media dictating to you that you should constantly smile when out in public. I found this so bizarre that I feel compelled to pen these open words of support to you. Read the rest of this entry »
Meghan Markle, Justin Welby and the Use and Abuse of Baptism
Meghan Markle, Justin Welby and the Use and Abuse of Baptism
If you click on the above link or image, it will take you to an excellent article by Gavin Ashenden, an Anglican minister (with a sweet Russian Orthodox heart) who was Honorary Chaplain to Queen Elizabeth from 2008 until he resigned in 2017 so that he could better speak out against the corrupted nature of the state church. This is a very perceptive piece in which, using the device of Meghan Markle’s recent baptism, Gavin highlights the cosmic spiritual battle between Light and darkness reflected in the struggle between a corrupt state (Reich) church and the true body of the scattered disciples of Christ the Light of the world (a diaspora in which I unreservedly count myself). The Book of Revelation clearly shows that the churches embedded in nation-states are of the spirit of Antichrist and will, in fact, support THE Antichrist when he is revealed on earth. The Royal Wedding is a state church theatre in which the corrupted power of the state – with its monarchy, armed forces, parliament and brutal might – are being romanticised and sentimentalised with fairy-tale precision by PR professionals, MI5 and some forces of darkness beyond most people’s comprehension. That ambitious, social-climbing little girl, Meghan, is like a gazelle who has naively wandered into a pride of lions.

My Take on the 2018 EuroTrash Song Contest

This is the best that EuroTrash from the false EU can produce. What a horrible joke. I was gobsmacked by the banality. Give me the Old Europe (the Real Europe) any day — the producer of Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann, Zelenka, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelsohn, Schubert, Brahms, Bruckner, Mahler, etc. How far we have strayed! April Fools’ Day is Every Day!

NO NEED TO PUT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE HERE. Just watch the news or read a newspaper (which is 90% propaganda or disinformation), or go on Facebook (where 90% of news stories, memes and claims are false, which is why it’s called “Fakebook”!). Almost everything in this world is fake — whether socially, emotionally or spiritually. April Fools Day is every day. Discovering the authentic is where it’s at. One can chuckle knowingly at the fakery but find joy in what is real. That is our life’s work: Exposing the bullshit and discovering what is authentic, both inwardly and outwardly. Now there’s a challenge! Happy April Fools Day!

The “Other” Strauss: Music for a New Year’s Day
ON WHAT HAS COME TO BE CALLED “NEW YEAR’S DAY”, it is traditional in Europe to listen to concerts of Viennese polkas and waltzes, mainly by Johann Strauss II (1825 – 1899). What many do not know is that at that time there was another Strauss in Vienna called Richard (pronounced Rickard, 1864 – 1949). Richard Strauss did admire Johann Strauss’s waltzes, but Richard’s music was in another dimension altogether — a heavenly one. Frankly, I would much rather listen to Richard’s music than Johann’s. I don’t mind the occasional waltz; but a whole concert of them, with encores? Nein danke! Waltzes don’t really go anywhere. They are for emotional dilettantes. One can never get to the real marrow of life (or death) in ¾ time. 😊
