Shallowing the Divide: Reconciliation – The Way of Cleansing

Franz Marc Reconciliation 1912 (woodcut_in_black_on_japan_paper)

INTRODUCTION: Is Forgiveness a Threat to Society?

Of all the subjects about which I have written in the last few decades, the one on which I am embarking here is surely one of the sweetest, and maybe even one of the most important. Yet, strangely, human reconciliation (aka forgiveness) is also potentially one of the most contentious. Because of that, there will be some who will be triggered by what I am going to write here, especially by the more challenging parts. But I urge you to stay with me until I have concluded this little treatise. The only way to remove a blockage is to bulldoze your way right through it. So please hold my hand and step through this with me now. Read the rest of this entry »

PROLOGUE: Ugly Truths are Preferable to Beautiful Lies

Writing an article such as this is not how I prefer to be spending my time. I would far rather be creating poetry or making music; and I certainly do not relish courting controversy, as this piece inevitably will, because of the prevailing zeitgeist today, which means that the mass of people easily take offence and can be triggered by anything which challenges their conditioning or which threatens to reveal a difficult truth. I can remember watching a tremendous movie-metaphor concerning the Read the rest of this entry »

Wake-Up Disintegration

INTRODUCTION: The Gloves Are Off!

Maybe you’ve noticed that I’ve not written much for a while about the “state of the world”, its dirty chessboard, its madness or its crazy politics, or any other such nonsense. Instead, I’ve been immersing myself completely in the creation of music and poetry. That’s not only because I like it that way, but it’s because I’ve said more or less all that I have to say about it. It’s all on my blog in the articles tab, or in the book I wrote last year. I don’t bang drums for the drums’ sake. Neither would I bang them endlessly. Pointless. I don’t have an axe to grind or a chip weighing down my shoulder! I always share on a need-to-know basis. In any case, I don’t write about all that stuff as a kind of mental masturbation but as an incentive to develop a spiritual understanding of what lies behind it all — to see it as a manifestation of the spiritual battle raging across this cosmos, with Planet Earth as its central focus. However, in view of the farcical developments in the UK (🙄) and the way that so many are still so taken in and mesmerised by the whole charade (in other words, they take it seriously even though it’s all just a worthless show), I will just share some relevant material in this little piece, for what it’s worth; then I will shut up until there’s something new to say (though I know that few will read this or even care). Just so you know, I am not going to “pull any punches” here. The gloves have been removed. And if you are triggered or offended, please ask yourself why… and keep reading anyway. 😉 Read the rest of this entry »

Thank God for Poetry!

Snapshot_332

⚡️THANK GOD FOR POETRY!⚡️ After a long life of experience and observation, I have to confess that I don’t really fit into this strangely-fallen world, in which the vast majority wears a mask, cares not about self-awareness, is only motivated by personal gain (no matter how much they may dress it up otherwise with virtue-signalling), has no real fidelity, has no sense of honour, is riddled with cultural baggage, is unable to think for himself or herself, practises wholesale wilful ignorance, is enslaved to fads and fashions, has no discernment or critical thinking processes, is moulded by conformity and Read the rest of this entry »

PROLOGUE: Music Mimics Spirit

In so many ways, music mimics spirit. In the realm of the arts, the manner in which music works is surely the nearest that one can get to spirit within this 3-D fallen world. With what we call music, in common with all sound, invisible vibrations are generated in the air which imperceptibly glide from the source to the human ear. But when what we call “notes” are struck harmonically, what we call music ensues. But where is that music in the air? Just grooving around in the ether waiting to connect with you! Within the confines of artistic expression, that is as near to spiritual communication that one can get; and it enters you at a level beneath your ordinary consciousness, which is why it can have a damning or enlightening effect, depending on what kind of music it is and how open (or vulnerable) you are to receiving it. The ones who do not mind the other seeing inside their hearts;
the ones whose heartfelt overtures will never be false-starts;
the ones who are always open books rather than closed reactions;
the ones who are full of inner joy with no dissatisfaction;
the ones who aren’t offended or triggered when others speak truth or get real;
the ones who know with ease and grace with their hearts to wholly feel; Read the rest of this entry »

Blueprint for the Coming Half-Century, 1965-2015

2019-05-05

BELOW THIS INTRODUCTION, YOU WILL FIND A PDF LINK TO A DETAILED DOCUMENT, “Blueprint for the Coming Half-Century, 1965-2015”, which I wrote as an appendix in a book on which I’ve been working sporadically for some years, entitled “Reluctant Angels”. This brief introduction here explains its context, before you read it, so you will better understand it. This book is set during the countdown years of the present aeon, on the cusp of the new aeon, and it focuses on the ingathering and work of strategic counterculture groups around the world who refer to themselves as “Reluctant Angels” (for reasons which will become clear, as their job isn’t easy) in breaking down Read the rest of this entry »

INTRODUCTION: The Modern Urge to Shoot the Messenger

When one writes in the manner in which I do, often on controversial subjects or ones which are designed to stretch the mind, there will always be some people who get bent out of shape or offended, or even outraged. So be it. One of the signs of emotional maturity, and especially of spiritual maturity (which should involve the overcoming of ego issues), is being able to read or hear something with which one doesn’t agree without having apoplexy or being filled with the urge to shoot down the messenger! As a sign of the immaturity which is seemingly inherent in cyberspace is the lurking bunch of people who are always waiting to shoot you down in flames for the least little contradiction of the ways they want to control you and your manner of thinking. It goes with the territory, especially in the Wild West social media scene! Read the rest of this entry »

Mahler’s Epic Resurrection Symphony

Posted on

WHEN HE WAS 28 YEARS OLD, Gustav Mahler began writing his second symphony, known as the “Resurrection Symphony”. It had its first performance in 1895 in Berlin, when Mahler was 35 years old, with Mahler himself conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Scored for a huge orchestra and male/female choir (it also has an offstage mini-orchestra), it lasts around 90 minutes. Apparently, it was voted the fifth-greatest symphony of all time in a survey of conductors carried out in 2016 by the BBC Music Magazine. (Mahler’s 9th was voted the 4th greatest, just behind Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony!). Just for your interest, the entire top ten symphonies of all time in this conductors’ vote were as follows: Read the rest of this entry »
