LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #34: “My Rocketship, ‘Apocalypse’”
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #34: “My Rocketship, ‘Apocalypse’”. Here’s another raw video of a song I just wrote. It’s just a very personal (if somewhat surrealistic) take on some old situations and their consequences in my life, and my being freed from them. It contains 4 verses, 4 refrains and a vocal bridge. (There will also be an article related to this on my new website specially designed for articles later this month, entitled “Truth Attracts Lies & We All Know Why!”). I hope that it speaks [sings] to you. Living-Room Videos are made of songs I just wrote. They are not professional grade but raw and acoustic, filmed on a webcam in my living-room. If this was in a live concert, there would be a full band, synthesizer and orchestral instruments. Here are the lyrics: Read the rest of this entry »
The Self-Awareness Song (from my album, “The Key”)
Here is a sample song from my most recent album, “The Key”. You can click on the “Play” button above to hear it. The lyrics are, I believe, most apposite for the world as it is today. So many of us speak and act without any self-awareness whatsoever. Neither do we consider what might be the consequences. This song is a wake-up call from our sleepwalking. It is in a classic early music style, with lute, drums and various classical instruments from the Stockholm Concert Orchestra, playing without vibrato to add to the authentic early music effect. Here are the lyrics: Read the rest of this entry »
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #33: “Home”
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #33: “Home”. Here’s a another video of a song I just wrote. The melody has been floating about in my head for years, waiting for the right lyrics, which came yesterday. It is in an open tuning on guitar and straight from the depths of my heart/soul. I hope that it speaks [sings] to you. Here are the lyrics:
Take me home…
take me back where I belong.
You can stay…
but please leave me in this song.
For in you I have found…
that precious thing for which I long. Read the rest of this entry »
Living-Room Video #32: “Shades of Green”
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #32: “Shades of Green”. Here’s a video of a song I wrote yesterday. At the start of the video I’ll tell you a bit about it. [HINT: Big theme — everything has consequences. In this song, big consequences]. Soon, I will upload the article which accompanies this song, entitled “Primal Stream: The Ancient Roots of Gender-Bending”. Here are the full lyrics:
Spread before him was a garden;
colour green floods through his eyes.
Nothing yet that needed pardon;
rather, he’s strangely naïve, not wise. Read the rest of this entry »
J.S. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No.3: Fill your Soul with Joy!
OH, THE JOY! The music of Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the greatest ways to lift up your soul from any doldrums or just to drip-feed your soul with beauty and mellifluousness. His 3rd Orchestral Suite (first known score is from 1730) is full of life and movement. One part of it (the so-called “Air on a G-string”) is well-known to so many from TV advertisements, film documentaries, etc., yet very few know this music in its whole context. Living-Room Video #31: “Equinox – A Hymn”
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #31: “Equinox – A Hymn”. Here’s a video of a song I have written in the last few days, since the Equinox. At the start of the video I’ll tell you all about it. These are the lyrics:
Time comes again when the
night equals day.
Summer is spent and the
Fall comes to play
as the days melt away.
I’m melting too as ice
looms into view.
Daylight is fading to
Indigo blue
then the Solstice is due.
My Take on the 2018 EuroTrash Song Contest

This is the best that EuroTrash from the false EU can produce. What a horrible joke. I was gobsmacked by the banality. Give me the Old Europe (the Real Europe) any day — the producer of Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann, Zelenka, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelsohn, Schubert, Brahms, Bruckner, Mahler, etc. How far we have strayed! Mahler’s Crazy Rondo Burleske
I KNOW MOST OF YOU PROBABLY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME to listen to a complete Mahler symphony (lasting between 1 and 1½ hours!). You are far too busy and important people to be wasting your life infusing yourselves with divine musical nectar from one of the most deep and spiritual composers to have graced this planet. 😉 But could I tempt you to set aside your super-busy-ness to spend just 12 minutes of your life listening to one little part of his 9th Symphony? Actually, this particular part (or “movement” as it’s called) is especially relevant to “super-busy-ness”. Shockingly so. Let me explain: Read the rest of this entry »
LIVING-ROOM VIDEO #30: “Love-Dust Dream”
Been living underground;
there, water’s deep and most of me drowned.
It’s of no consequence;
tore down some walls — undid all pretence
[climbed off the fence]
I have no table here;
walked on hot coals and burned away fear.
For I’ve lost everything
except this dreamful song that I sing
[flowers I bring]
